Brummett, 53, of North Aurora passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2001 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota. He was born November 5, 1947 in Aurora the son of the late Virgil and Evelyn (Sass) Brummett. Tom was a lifelong member of Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in North Aurora. He worked for Furnas Electric Co. and what subsequently became known as Siemen's Corperation for 35 years. Survivers include his brother, Robert (Debra)Brummett of North Aurora; two neices, Christine Ann and Rebecca Lynn Brummett; an aunt, June Wehlan of North Aurora; an uncle, Art (Annabelle) Sass of Oak Park, IL and numerous cousins. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2001 at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl., Aurora. Rev. Robert B. Kasperson will officiate. Interment will take place in Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18, 2001 and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at The Healy Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the National Kidney Association or to the American Diabetes Association.
