Jacob Schweisberger, 67 years old, died Sun. night at his home at Lake of the Woods after an illness of several months. Mr. Schweisberger was born Dec 23, 1873, and lived at his home near the lake for the past 35 years. His 1st wife, the former Minnie Balsley, died in Feb 1931. Later he was married to Mary Elizabeth Hartman, who survives. He leaves 1 dau. and 1 son, Mrs. Ruth Crum of near LaPaz and George D. Schweisberger of South Bend., and one granddaughter, Shirley Crum. There are two sisters, Mrs. Catherine Smith of Elkhart and Caroline Ranstead of Bremen, and one brother, Alexander Schweisberger of Wakarusa. Funeral services were held Wed. afternoon at the Huff Funeral Home, Rev. M.O. Herman, pastor of Salem Evangelical church, officiating. Burial was in Bremen cemetery.
