Mrs. Willie Mae "Bill" Hearne was born in Cottage Grove, TN and died in Shreveport, LA. She moved from Deweyville, TX to Jonesboro, LA in the summer of 1934 and became the organist and pianist for Jonesboro Methodist Church in 1934 and served until 1993. She taught piano in Jonesboro for many years. She was an avid bridge player and loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Wesley McClain and Paralee Mandana Cole McClain; her husband, Howard Edwin Hearne, and six brothers and sisters; Jessie Manis Hatch, Fay Louis McClain, Charles Malcolm McClain, Alice Geraldine "Jerry" Perry, Russia McClain, and Winnie McClain.
