Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for Mrs. Betty Jean CRARY, 46, who died Thursday at her home, 1501 W. 1st, after a long illness.

She was born June 6, 1919 at Junction City and had lived in Topeka since 1948.

She was a member of the Central Congregational Church where she had been a deaconess and an officer in the Women's Fellowship. She was a member of PEO, Medical Auxiliary, Topeka Junior League and alumnae of Gamma Phi Beta soroity.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. John E. Crary, three sons, Van Crary, Thomas Crary, and Dougals Crary, and a daughter, Carolyn Crary, all of the home; her father Dr. R.W. VanDEVENTER, Wellington; and two sisters, Mrs. Robert PFADT, Laramie, Wyo., and Mrs. Patrick RAYMOND, Wichita.

Entombment will be in Mount Hope Abbey.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
