Philomene Carpentier was born 29 May 1837 and was christened the same day at St Cuthbert, Berthier Co.,Que. She was the daughter of Pierre Carpentier & Julie Paquet.
She married Joseph Aubin, 17 Nov 1962, in St Gabriel de Brandon, Que.
During her life she resided in St Cuthbert and St Didace, PQ, and in Greenville, NH, and in 1910, in South Ashburnham,MA. While living in Greenville, she ran a boarding house.
Their children: Lina, Mary, Joseph, Malvina, Georgina, Roseanna, Marie, M. Valerie, Lea, Exelina and Delia Aubin.
Malvina died in South Ashburnham, Mass.,1 Oct 1914,
St Didace Parish register, 1914, S-25. ( ANQ-Que.) A tall black iron cross grave marker was still there in 1934. ( 8 x 10 Photo, 1934) The cross was gone in 1977, and the priest did not know where the the grave had been.
