Helen Kuzy Beverina, 84, of Washington, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, in her home.
She was born Mar. 13, 1923, in Washington, a daughter of Andrew and Anastasia Carmen Kuzy.
Mrs. Beverina graduated from Trinity High School in 1941.
She was a homemaker and member of St. Hilary Roman Catholic Church.
On Oct. 17, 1948, she married Carl J. Beverina, who died Jun. 13, 1993.
Surviving are two daughters, Denise Beverina-Moore of McDonald and Yvonne (Jim) Weaver of McMurray; and three grandchildren, Andrew Moore, Caitlin Moore and Scott Weaver.
Deceased are a sister, Mary Balog; three brothers, John, Nicholas and Frank Kuzy; and a son-in-law, Timothy Moore.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Ave., Washington. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, in St. Hilary Church, Washington, with the Rev. Thomas D. O'Neil as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Association of Miraculous Medal, 475 E. Chelten Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19144.
