She married Donnell Ivan Holeman May 4, 1935. Six Children were born to this union.
After farming on several places in the Arcadia area, the couple purchased a farm in the Clear Creek area in 1958. In 1981 they returned and bought a house in Arcadia. In December 1998, she became a resident of Sandhills Manor Nursing Home in Broken Bow. She later transferred to Heritage Hall Nursing Home, where she was residing at the time of her death.
