According to the booklet "Commemorating the Solemn Rededication of Old San Miguel Mission Socorro, New Mexico May 19, 1974" (page 25):

"Removal of the plaque at Guadalupe Baca's burial place shows rumors of burial in wall are not so and contacts with family members of the Baca's (sic) verify burial is in nave floor beneath site of plaque as that of Don Pedro Baca on the opposite side of the main nave."

Death of Mrs. G. T. de Baca

News received from Socorro states that Mrs. Guadalupe T. Baca died in that town on yesterday (sic) at the ripe age of 88 years and 33 days. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 9:30 in the forenoon. Deceased died of old age. She was a member of one of the oldest families in the territory, and the mother of Juan Jose Baca, Candelario Garcia and other well known citizens of Socorro county. She leaves many children and grandchildren to mourn her loss.
