Homegoing Services for Ms. Fannie C. Bohannon, 89, will be held Saturday, January 23, 2010, 1:00 P. M. at Mount Gilead United Methodist Church, 2002, Bohannon Road, Grantville, Georgia, with remains placed in state at 11:00 A. M., Bishop Alfred Z. Bohannon, Pastor, Officiating. Interment New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Old Corinth Road, Grantville, Georgia. The family will receive friends in our chapel this evening (Friday) from 7-8 PM.
Ms. Fannie was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry and Lougenia Hutchenson Bohannon. She is survived by one brother, Mr. John Henry Bohannon; five sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Rogers, of Carson, California, Mrs. Olivia Mitchell, of Decatur, Georgia, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie (Lillian) Johnson, of Milford, Connecticut, Mrs. Ollie Pearl Holmes, of Bridgeport, Connecticut, and Mrs. Fairest Potts, of Decatur, Georgia; one aunt, Ms. Mattie Irvin Dye, of Decatur, Georgia; one aunt-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Hutchenson, of Atlanta, Georgia, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
