Hazel married the Late Ellison Paul Leatherwood November 13, 1946 in Jack County, Texas. She was a homemaker, member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksboro and the widow of a Lost Battalion prisoner of war survivor. She passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 in Midland, Texas. Hazel was 91 years old.
Hazel is preceded in death by her husband Ellison Paul Leatherwood; parents, William Henry and Minnie Graves; brothers, Robert W Graves, Marion A. Graves; and sister Lula Mae Ross.
She is survived today by her daughter and son-in-law; Paula Price and Ronny Price of Midland, Texas, son and daughter-in-law ; Jimmy and Debbie Leatherwood of Athens, Texas, four grandchildren; Jessica Leatherwood of Athens, Katie Leatherwood of Riga, Latvia, Christi Harris and husband Alan of Odessa, Ronda Yoon and husband William of Scottsdale, Arizona; two great-grandchildren Sophie Harris and Seth Harris of Odessa.
