Frank Harris, age 70 years, of Brockton, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010, after a lengthy illness. Born in Brockton, he was a son of the late William Harris and Ethel (Nordeen) Harris. Frank served in the U.S. Air Force and joined the Brockton Fire Department as a firefighter in 1967. He retired as Aide to the Chief in 1989. He is survived by a son, Scott Harris and his wife Laurie of Taunton; two daughters, Kristin Mantia of Taunton and Karin Colombo and her husband David of East Bridgewater; six grandchildren, Nicole and Christopher Mantia, Andrew Anderson and Michael Harris, all of Taunton, and Paige and Leighton Colombo of East Bridgewater; a brother, Richard Harris; two sisters, Virginia Nordin and Nancy Willis; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Marilyn Wright, Jean Ross and William Harris Jr. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 19, 2010, at 10 a.m. in the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home, 647 Main St., Brockton.
