Helga "Jackie" Atkins, 85, died Tuesday at the Brodstone Memorial Nuckolls County Hospital, Superior. Services will be Saturday 10:30 a.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church, Superior, with the Rev. Jerry Dean officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Atkins, the daughter of Frank and Rose Suey Jonson, was born Jan. 5, 1908 on a farm in Nuckolls County Neb.

She was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church, the Rebekah Lodge, 35 year member of the Hospital Auxiliary, all of Superior, and The Volunteer Red Cross.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert, Superior; brothers, Francis Jonson, Canyon City, Colo., and Forest Jonson, Olympia, Wash.; and a sister, Ida Southwell, Denver.

Williams Funeral Home, Superior, is in charge of the arrangements.
