Donny was born Nov.16,1949 to Estil and Colene (Glines) Martin. He had 2 brothers Danny, and Dennis and one sister, Karen Wood. After graduating from Bettendorf High School in 1969 he was drafted into the Marine's and served from 1969 to 1971. He spent his time at Camp Pendleton and in Japan. Donny enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He was a boyscout leader for his step-grandsons troop. He worked as a mechanic for years until an accident in his work van left him too disabled to do that anymore. He was a maintenance man for his younger brothers company at the time of his death.
Donny was survived by his mother, brothers, sister, 8 neices and nephews and 5 great neices and nephews. Donny was very shy, but all who knew him loved him. Donny was preceeded in death 4 1/2 months earlier by his father. Donny died of an apparent heart attack. You will be missed so much by everyone.
