On December 30, 1840 Andrew Creveling became the first postmaster of Bethlehem Twp. later to be West Portal, N.J. He was also a laborer and owned plot #54 in the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Andrew married Mary Ann Ruth. Additional child: Francis B. Creveling (1837-1908).
