Miss Norma Jean Bassham, 72, long-time resident of Wall Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Hidden Acres Health Care. Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Arlington Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant with Edd Brown officiating. The family will visit with friends at graveside. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Floyd Bell Bassham and Myrtle Nichols Isabel Bassham. She attended Allensville Baptist Church. She is survived by a brother, Charles (Doris) Bassham of Columbia; an aunt, Kathleen Bassham Johnson of Mt. Pleasant; and several cousins. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include staff members of Hidden Acres Health Care. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements.
