Our mother was our best friend. She was a wonderful grandmother and great grandmother. We all love and miss her more than anyone could ever know. Since she left us, she has had three more grandchildren and six more great grandchildren. In total Mom had four Children (one of whom had died), Nine Grandchildren (one of whom had died), and eleven Great-Grandchildren and in January 2012 and March 2012, two Great Great Granddaughters - one from her Great Granddaughter, Danielle and one from her great Granddaughter, Julia. She dearly love her Children and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and I know she is loving the new Great Great Grandchildren - Mom was always smiling - She had a wonderful sense of humor - She was raised during the depression so was very cognizant of saving money - she was able to stretch her dollars by doing whatever was needed but there was always something cooking on the stove when we got home from school - she would get up early on school days and make sure that the house was warm during the winter-time so that my brother, Stanley and I were warm and cozy while we ate breakfast - I was not much of a breakfast eater so Mom would fix whatever I wanted just to get me to eat - sometimes I would have a "hot dog" for breakfast - :) - Mom was beautiful - when she was a little girl, her hair was so red but it had grown dark over the years - when Mom died, she would have been 77 that month and had very little gray in her hair - she was still beautiful - she loved her Children so much - Sadly she had several years of sorrow - in 1975 she lost Dad - in 1979 she lost her Brother, Clifford, and her Grandson, Steven - in 1980 she lost her Beautiful Son (my Brother), Raymond, who was only 25 years old - In 1984 she lost her Beautiful Mother and In 1991 she would lose the second Love of her life, Owen Crawford -- But Mom was as Strong as she was Beautiful - She was our Rock - She had suffered from Diabetes for many years - She would die from diabetes related causes - Mom is So very much missed and LOVED ---
