Thomas William Hardesty was born in Overland, Missouri on Febuary 25, 1931 the son of William and Sybil Roland Hardesty and passed away in the St. Johns Mercy Hospital in St. Louis on Febuary 12, 1985. He had attended the age of 53 years.
He was united into marriage to Carol Thomas and unto this union 1 son and 2 daughters were born.
Tom is survived by his wife Carol of the home, 1 son Tom Hardesty II of Oklahoma City, Linda Hardesty-Bell of Dixon, and Jackie Ramsey of Tuttle Ok, 2 grandchildren Zachary and Scott Ramsey, his mother Sybil Hardesty of Overland, 2 sisters JoAnn Hammel of New Melle, Joyce Speraneo of Orchard Farms Missouri, 1 brother William Hardesty of Overland with other relatives and friends.
He was a member of the Apollo#529 Masonic Rosehill Temple in Creve Cour and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services were held in the Long-Gilbert Chapel on Friday, Febuary 15, 1985 at 2:00pm with Rev. Randy Hoffman officiating. Burial was in the Hardesty Cemetery under the direction of the Long-Gilbert Chapel of Dixon Missouri.
Organist Kathy Brandt and Hazel Schierbaum sang Amazing Grace. Serving as his pallbearers were from the Dixon Fire Department, Teri Edmunds, Jerry Goodman, Greg Campbell, Carl Warnol, John and James Rujawitz. Masonic services were given Thursday evening by Arlington Lodge #346 of Dixon at 7:00pm.

Grandpa was also a Police Officer for the Overland, Mo Police Dept and Retired as a truck driver for Lee Way Tucking.
