Bonnie Mozelle Brown was born January 25, 1922 to James D. and Josie (Morgan) Jones in Jack County, Texas. She passed away Wednesday September 3, 2008 in Odessa, Texas at the age of 86 years.

She graduated from Bryson High School in 1939 and married Horace Lee Brown September 23, 1939 in Graham, Texas. They lived in the Bryson area until 1952 when the family moved to Crane, Texas. In 1966 they moved to Odessa where they stayed until Horace's retirement from the Oil company May 1, 1980, when they moved back to Bryson.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Horace in November 1989; a daughter, Patsy Ellen Honea; two sisters, Nell Pierce and Opal Rankin.

Survivors include her daughters, Jannye Ruth Wimberley and husband, W. D.; Martha Joe Crow and husband, Lonnie; her son, Phillip Edward Brown and wife, Judith; nine grandchildren, Bill Wimberley; Sheila Pahl, Steve Wimberley; Randall Smith; Jill Clark; Lonnie Crow II; Rob Honea; Todd Honea; Shawn McCutcheon; Monica Way; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9 am to 12 noon Saturday September 6, 2008 at Coker Funeral Home with a Graveside Service a 2 pm at Mountain Home Cemetery in Jack County, Texas.

In Lieu of flowers the family ask donations be sent to Hospice House, 903 N. Sam Houston Ave., Odessa, TX 79761
