Frank J. (Baron) Baronowski, of R.D. 1 Sunset Lake, Shickshinny died Sunday morning March 13, 1988 in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Plains Township. Born in Nanticoke, he was the son of the late Frank and Bertha Chesinski Baronowski. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Nanticoke. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Navy. He was a member of American Legion Post #350, Nanticoke, and Veterans of Foreign War Post #290, Nanticoke. While he resided in Nanticoke, he was self employed as a painter and a paper hanger. Later, he was employed by the Veterans Administration Hospital, Lebanon, for 16 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Theodosia Levandowski, Nanticoke; son, Francis, Mount Laurel New Jersey; brother, Henry Wojciechowski, Nanticoke; sisters, Mrs. Helen Krasucki, Nanticoke; Mrs. Irene Babiuk, Hunlock Creek; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the Grontkowski Funeral Home, 51-53 W. Green St. Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 in St Stanislaus Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Nanticoke. Friends may call this evening 7 to 9 p.m.
