She was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Collyer, and is survived by her sons Bruce of Cleveland and Gordon (Wendy) of Clearwater, Fla.

Anna was born in Bucyrus on Dec. 15, 1917 and lived in her youth in Oberlin. She graduated from Oberlin High School and then attended business college and worked in Cleveland.

After her marriage, Anna and Dwight were longtime residents of Oberlin Avenue in Lorain, later moving to Amherst.

She was a member of the Lorain United Methodist Church and active in the church's Women's Circles and children's programs. Upon Dwight's retirement from U.S. Steel in Lorain, they moved to Beverly Hills, Fla., where she was blessed to be close to her sister, Mary Cully, and her brother, Melvin Meikirk, in Sarasota from many wonderful years.

Anna was also blessed with a grandson, John Collyer, who, with his wife Michele, live in Bealeton, Va., with Anna's great-grandchildren, Hayden and Avery.

Final interment will be at Westwood Cemetery in Oberlin, with services at the Cowling Funeral Home on March 29 at 11 a.m. with clergy Margaret Mitchell officiating.
