Clarice Erickson, 85, formerly of rural Fairdale, ND, died Wednesday, May 15, 1991, in Bethany Home, Waupaca, WI, where she had lived the past year.
Clarice GenevaThorson was born March 23, 1906, in Tiber Township, Walsh County, North Dakota, the daughter of Edward and Gudbjor Thorson. She attended rural schools in Walsh County and married Edwin Erickson June 16, 1926, in Edinburg, ND. They farmed near Fairdale, ND. He died Oct. 29, 1968.
Survivors are her daughters, Elva Gullixon, Waupaca, WI and Elaine (Mrs. Elrie) Knudson, Cambridge, MN; sons, Donald Erickson, Wasilla, Alaska; Lynn Erickson, Grand Forks, ND and Kenneth Erickson, Big Lake, Alaska; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Alva (Mrs. Lester) Carlson and Carol (Mrs. Harold) Schwartz, both of Minneapolis, MN; and brothers, Alton Thorson, Edinburg, ND and Edroy Thorson, Minneapolis, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a grandson.
Funeral service: Monday, May 20, 1991, in Grace Free Lutheran Church, Edinburg, ND.
