Funeral services were held at the Gano Funeral Home at two p.m. Wednesday for Alta Lucille Austin, ten-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Leroy Austin, of Greenacres, who had been suffering with mastoid trouble for the past month. The services were conducted by Rev. R.D.E. Smith and interment was in the New Odd fellows Cemetery. She was born in Dewey, OK., where her sisters, Mrs. Rodger Lasure and Mrs. Willard Martin still reside. The family came to Greenacres about a year ago. Other survivors are her brothers, George, Wendell, Raymond, and sisters, Laura, Margaret, Barbara, Beverly and Bernice, all of whom live in Greenacres. She passed away at the Knife Hospital here last Tuesday morning.
