Theodore "Ted" Jacob Tretts, 75, Mooresville, died May 20, 2010, in the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center, Indianapolis. Ted was born October 27, 1934, in Buffalo, New York, the only son of the late Theodore "Ted" and Katheen "Kay" (Walton) Tretts.

Ted resided in Mooresville for the past eleven years and in Delevan, New York from 1965-99. Ted worked in production control for Motorola for 34 years, retiring in 1998. He worked for Motorola in Arcade and Akron, New York. He proudly served in the United States Army with the 57th Field Artillery, 7th Division. Prior to being deployed, he served with the Anti-Aircraft Battalion near Washington, D.C. Ted enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, and attending farm and antique auctions.

Survivors include his fiance and life partner, Hilary Thurmond of Mooresville; sons, Mitchell Tretts of Arcade, New York and Patrick Tretts (Julie) of East Otto, New York; daughters, Alison Young (Darrell) of Frankfort, Kentucky, Tina Workman (Joe) of Raymond, Nebraska, and Wendy Ullrich of Pulteney, New York; sister, Marilyn Speakman (Donald) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; aunt, Alice Trzecki of Buffalo, New York; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
