Nathaniel Flint was the son of Cyrus Flint and Sally Eymer. He was born in Amity, Allegany County, New York. He married Lydia Seward sometime between 1860-1865 in New York. They migrated west to Wisconsin, where they lived for over ten years before moving to South Dakota. Nathaniel worked as a farmer, lumberman and a blacksmith. His date of death is not known and it is not known for sure he rests here in Ramona Cemetery.
