Ray and Virginia Huntter c. 1950s or 60s. This was one of many photos I found in an old album of Virginia's. There were many photos in her album many dating to the mid 1800s. Ray Huntter c. late 1940s. Ray is center row right. To his left is his dear friend, Medal of Honor recipient Capt. Reginald Desiderio. The Huntters and Desiderios were very close. Desiderio was KIA in Korea and awarded the MOH posthumously. Photo was in an old family album I bought belonging to Ray's wife Virginia Huntter (nee Gaustad). Letters written by Desiderio to the Huntters were the reason why I purchased the album. I have every photo in the album on file. If any of Virginia or Ray's family would like copies of these photos please feel free to contact me. Many of her photos date back to the mid 1800s.

Ray Huntter in Korea during the Korean War. Ray is the soldier in the fatigues leaning his elbow on the sandbags. This was one of many photos I found in an old album of his wife, Virginia (nee Gaustad). There were many photos in her album many dating to the mid 1800s. I have every photo in the album on file.
