Isaacson, Howard Benton

ISAACSON Howard Benton passed away on April 27 at his home in Palm Beach Gardens. His beautiful smile illuminated the lives of so many and he will be dearly missed. Mr. Isaacson was born in Baltimore on July 22, 1928 to Max and Sylvia Isaacson. Raised in Dayton, Mr. Isaacson graduated from Fairview High School and The Ohio State University, majoring in business administration and lettering in track and field. While there, he met the love of his life, Rita Katz, and the couple married, in 1950. After graduation, they returned to Dayton, where he joined the family business, Globe Industries a miniature motor manufacturer and eventually rose to the position of executive vice president. He remained with the company in executive position until his retirement. He and his wife then relocated to West Palm Beach, FL where Mr. Isaacson acquired an acrylic manufacturing company Peter Alan Designs, which he ran until his second retirement. Throughout his life, Mr. Isaacson was an outstanding athlete, spending many happy days playing golf and tennis. His greatest joy, however, was always his family.
