Mrs. Louise Eleanore Moats, aged 20 years, wife of James Norman Moats, Fairview, died yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Waynesboro Hospital following an operation. She had been ill for the last three weeks, suffering from gall bladder trouble, and on June 7 was removed to the hospital for an operation. She was born in Baltimore, the daughter of Paul and Olive (Shel­don) Bartle. She lived the greater part of her life in Waynesboro and vicinity and for five years was a resident of the Milton Wright Home. Since January she had lived at Fairview. Mrs. Moats was a member of the Blue Rock United Brethren Church. Surviving are her husband and a seven-months-old son, Norman Jr., her mother, Mrs. Paul Kauffman, two brothers, Kenneth Wilmer and Harold James, and two step-sisters, Anna May Kauffman and Beulah Delores Kauffman, all of Greencastle, Route 3. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the Blue Rock United Brethren Church in charge of the Rev. F. M. Burkett, the Rev. Harry Barnes and the Rev. Mr. Hoover of Milton Wright Home. Interment will be made in Green Rill Cemetery. The body may be viewed Saturday evening between the hours of 7 and 9 o'clock at the Grove Funeral Home.
