He is listed as "John Doe" on a national missing children's website, but people in Collin County are calling him "Wylie's Angel."
Mowing crews found the abandoned body of a 6-year-old near Lake Lavon last week. But investigators say they are no closer to identifying the child, despite more than 100 tips from around the country.

'WYLIE'S ANGEL' HAS A NAME
The 6-year-old medically challenged child found dead near Lake Lavon last week has been identified. His name is Gerren Joseph Isgrigg.
According to Wylie Police Det. Venece Perepiczka, a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to Gerren's identification.

Grandmother Held on Murder Charge
Gerren's maternal grandmother and primary caregiver, 63-year-old Darlene Phillips, was arrested after 10 p.m. on a murder charge.

Father of Wylie's Angel Speaks Out
The biological parents of the little boy known as Wylie's Angel are both now in the Dallas area. They're working to finalize funeral arrangements for the boy. Many people have lots of questions for the both of them.
The man who fathered Gerren Joseph Isgrigg, is Staff Sergeant Jerry Isgrigg; a Marine who says he's heartbroken.
"I'm just completely numb. Not knowing what to feel about the events that have taken place," said Jerry Isgrigg.
Gerren's mother, Nyki Phillips, had left her son with her parents and did not see him regularly.
Isgrigg and his ex-wife are now finalizing funeral arrangements. He says he intends to bury Gerren in Arizona where his family lives.
