Arnold 'Floyd' Chase, 77, Rockton, IL., formerly of Valley, WI, and Waukegan, IL, died Tuesday, March 21, 1989, in Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 9, 1912, in Valley to Francis and Nellie (Hatifield) Chase. On July 22, 1934, he married Gladys Currie. She died in 1987. He retired from Fansteel in North Chicago, IL. Survivors include a daughter, Delores Koenig of Rockton; a son, Arnold Eugene of Zion, IL; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Clara Cronk of Racine, WI. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Services were Thursday in Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion, IL. The Rev. Leslie Martin officiated. Burial was in Mount Olivet Memorial Park, Zion.
