Harmon Henry "Buddy" Harrison, 91, of Bumpass, Virginia, and formerly of Savannah, Georgia, died Monday morning, June 1, 2009, at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Virginia.

Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late James Somer Harrison, Sr. and the late Myrtie Hester Harrison. Buddy served in the Army Air Corps in the South Pacific region during World War II. He worked in both commercial and residential construction. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister; Etta Savinich, and five brothers, Harry, William, Laurie, Alwaes and James Harrison.

Surviving are one daughter; Josephine Hildebrand and her husband, Bruce, of Alexandria, Virginia; one son, Harmon Henry "Tipp" Harrison, Jr. of Shakopee, Minnesota, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the graveside, Bonaventure Cemetery, conducted by The Reverend T. Kenneth Jernigan.
