Nancy Cain, 87, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 21, 2010.
Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Nancy was born Sept. 3, 1922, in Weir, Miss. Her family later moved to Rayville, La. She moved to Fort Worth the year she graduated from high school, in 1942, and began work at the "bomber plant," which was then Consolidated Aircraft. She began her career during World War II and retired after 43 years.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Webb Cain; parents, Walton and Mattie Moore; and brothers, Perry Lynn and Hill T. Moore.
Survivors: Her loving daughters, Barbara Barton, Veronica Chapman and husband, Andy, Judie Brooks and husband, Tom, all of Burleson; sisters, Frances Johnson of Star City, Ark., and Imogene Blaylock of Monroe, La.; grandchildren, Casey Barton, Teresa Layton, Jamie Sorenson and Cari Tiller; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
