The trial of Mrs. Bridgett Bishop took place two years after the death of Christian Trask. She was accused of bewitching Mrs. Trask causing her to commit suicide.
Christian married John Trask/Traske on April 9, 1679 in Beverly, Essex Co., MA. She was 29 yr. of age when she died and was the mother of five children born during the eleven years of her marriage. The youngest was 5 months old at the time of her suicide and it is possible that she suffered from post-partum depression.

Christian (Woodbury) Trask is the daughter of Humphrey Woodbury & Elizabeth Dudley or Hunter.
