Hopkinsville, Ky. - Sept 20. - (Special) - Lewis Turner, a young business man of Cerulean Springs, and Miss Nettie Atwood, daughter of Dr. B.F. Atwood of Trigg County, were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents in Cadiz, at noon today. Only a few near friends and relatives being present.

Services for Mrs. Nettie Leroy Turner, 86, will be at 2 pm tomorrow at Cerulean Methodist Church.
Officiating will be her pastor the Rev. Ray Upchurch, assisted by the Rev. William Hancock. Burial will be in Turner Cemetery, Cerulean.
Mrs. Turner, of Cerulean, died at 4:45 am yesterday at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Trigg County. She had been in declining health for several years.
She was born in Trigg County on December 22, 1878, the daughter of Benjamin Franklin and Lucy Theobold Atwood. On September 20, 1896, she married James Lewis Turner, who preceded her in death on January 20, 1958. Mrs. Turner was a member of Cerulean Methodist Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dryscall Ladd, Garden Grove, California, Mrs. Hugh Mann, Christian County, and Mrs. Josephine Soloman, Indianapolis, a son Randall (Rip) Turner, Gracey; three sisters, Mrs. Addie Jones, Trigg County, Mrs. Dale Moorefield, Camden, Tn., and Mrs. Nannie Bell Goodwin, Miami, Florida. Thirteen grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Lucian Holman, Elmer Roberts, Glenn Cornelius, Bill Burgess, Kenneth Hopson, and Dabney Rascoe. Honorary pallbearers are Mrs. Lucy Goodwin, Mr & Mrs. Marvin Rawls, Cary Rawls, Mr. & Mrs. Lee Cornelius, Sam Hall and Arvin Goodwin.
The body is at Goodwin Funeral Home, Cadiz.
