Walter "Butch" Banks, 53, of Culpeper County, formerly of Madison, passed away at his residence in Culpeper.
He was born on May 21, 1956, in Fredericksburg, to the late Walter and Josephine Miles Banks.
Mr. Banks was a former construction worker in the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. area.
Mr. Banks is survived by his daughter, Tammy Lauhon of Fellxmere, FL; a son, Kevin Lewis of Orange, VA; one brother, Harold Banks of Madison, VA; four sisters, Mary Banks of Baltimore, MD, Karen D. Banks of Charlottesville, VA, Lydia B. Banks of Largo, MD, and Dawn M. Banks of Madison, VA; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held Friday, April 9, 2010, at Satchell's Funeral Home in Orange with the Reverend Frank D. Lewis, Sr. officiating.
