Walter Theodore Bick was born in Lewis County, July 10, 1884, the son of Lewis Wesley and Margaret Amelia (Hess) Bick. He was married April 12, 1910, to Winifred Thompson, and passed away April 10. 1952 at his home near St Patrick. He was preceded in death by his parents, youngest daughter Lucille, and one sister Edith Riney. Surviving are his wife, his daughter, Mrs Louise Logsdon, Williamstown, Mo; a sister, Mrs Katie Riney of Quincy; eleven grandchildren; four nephews; three nieces and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the home, conducted by Rev E C Folchic, pastor of the Wayland Methodist church at 230 p.m. April 13. Interments in the Forest Grove cemetery in Canton. Pall bearers were his nephews Lewis Riney, Walter Riney, Patrick Riney, Joseph Riney, and grandsons, Alfred Logsdon and Dean Mahuran. Flower ladies were Leota Riney, Madeline Riney, Margaret Ellison and Josephine Tate.
