Billy C. Franklin, 70, of Kerens passed away Monday, March 29, 2010, at East Texas Medical Center in Athens.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, at Paschal Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 1, at Paschal Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wes Johnson officiating.
Mr. Franklin was born on April 13, 1939, in Kerens. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Michael "Bubby" Franklin Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Berry Franklin of Kerens; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Mary Franklin of Granite Shoals and Michael and Lisa Franklin of Montrose, Colo.; daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and John Coleman of Temple; daughter, Lorie Haden of Belton; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Audrain Franklin of Midland and Robert Franklin of Denison; and sisters, Bessie Johnston of Trinidad and Sandra Monroe of Malakoff.
