Emile was born, raised and educated in Lawrence MA. His parents had come to Lawrence from Canada. He served during World War II in the Army. After returning to the States he returned to Lawrence and resided there until his marriage.
Emile and Ruth were married in Windham on Sept. 1, 1957. They then purchased a home in Salem and resided in that town until their deaths.
Emile worked for A & P (Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. of Boston) as a Produce Manager from 1946 to 1977, when he began work at the Arlington Trust Co., in Methuen in the Operations Dept. Until his retirement in 1984. They both very much enjoyed vacations consisting of auto trips all over the state of Vermont.
