ALEXANDRIA- Funeral services for Phala K. Lewis, 71, Alexandria, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Noffze Funeral Home, Rev. Fred Hubert officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery in Yorktown. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today.
Mrs. Lewis died Tuesday at the Willows Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was born in Delaware County and lived in the Alexandria area most of her life. She was the widow of former Alexandria mayor Guy Lewis.
Surviving are two sons, Richard L. Lewis, High Bridge, N.J. and Paul A. Lewis, Summitville; a daughter, Patricia L. Esmon, Indianapolis; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren
