Mrs. Kathleen Hail Godsey, 76, died early Saturday morning in San Antonio. Mrs. Godsey was born in Houston County April 23, 1892. She had lived in San Antonio about seven years. Mrs. Godsey served as postmaster in Crockett for several years. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Callaway Memorial Chapel, with Rev. R. E. Atkinson officiating. Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dan Julian, Bud Hale, J. E. (Budgie) Hale, Frank Towery, T. D. Craddock and Smith Clines. Survivors include a brother, Taylor Hail of Troup; a sister, Mrs. C. E. McClelland of Tyler; a nephew, James W. Hail of Angleton; a niece, Mrs. Johnnie Beth Hail English of San Antonio.
