Ouida Carr Eason, 86, of Folkston, passed away September 1, 2001. She was a native of Tattnall County. She was a member of the Camp Pinckney Baptist Church in Folkston. She was preceded in death by her husband: Brinson Eason and her brother: Theron Carr.
Survivors include: 2 sons: Mainard Eason of Griffin, GA, and Sam Eason, Sr. of Folkston, GA; 3 daughters: Elene Maggart and Nell OBrian, both of Folkston, GA, and Lajuan Guinn of Kingsland, GA; 2 brothers, L.D. Carr of Lake City, FL, and Bill Carr of Glennville, GA; 2 sisters: Clarice King of Jacksonville, FL and Merl Strickland of Glennville, GA.; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, September 3 at 10:00 AM at the Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Eason officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia. Please sign the Guestbook at Jacksonville.com
