William R, McMurdo, 67, of N5004 Martin, died Tuesday in a local hospital. He had lived in Spokane the last 26 years.
A retired conductor for the Spokane, Portland & Seattle Railroad, Mr. McMurdo was a member of the Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Florence, at the home; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Horn, Reno Nev., and Mrs. Carol Ryan, Spokane; four sons, Jack Jamieson, Opportunity, Wash., James D. Jameison, Valley Forge, Pa., Walter McMurdo, Reno, Nev., and Marvin W. McMurdo, Dishman, Wash., a brother Jack McMurdo, Pasco, Wash.; 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home with Elder Wayne Winters officiating. Graveside services will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park with members of Hillyard Lodge No. 133, F. & A. M. participating."
