Allar Banks Lewis- a native of Marengo County and a resident of Mobile, was born July 27, 1919 departed this earthly life on March 13, 2010. She confessed Christ at an early age. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Banks; son, Ellis Wiley; brother, Steve Lambert; sister, Martha Buckner. She is survived by her loving granddaughter, Doris (Bruce) Burell; 2 great-grandsons; sister, Virgie Smith; two devoted nieces, Allar (Charles) Smith and Josephine (Arnold) Bethel; daughter-in-law, Mable Wiley; 2 nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral hour at Reese Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Gethsemane Cemetery Mobile, AL.
