Ettie Linnie Keen married James W. Davis on 30 October 1906. To this union, two sons and four daughters were born.

James W. Davis married Miss Linnie Herron on 5 February 1934 at Graham, Texas.

Services were held at the Baptist Church in Olney officiated by Rev. Robert Martin Washburn, pastor of Graham Baptist Temple, assisted by Rev. Washburn, the pastor. Mr. Davis was a well known Graham businessman and had been the manager of the Davis Feed Store since 1934. He had many friends in Young County and was known for his friendliness, jovial manner, and good humor. He was laid to rest beside his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D.B. Davis, who preceded him in death 20 years.

Mr. Davis moved to Texas with his family in 1892. He was converted and joined the Baptist Church in 1898. Mr. Davis moved to Young County in 1900 and lived near Farmer until he moved to Graham in 1920. He placed his membership in the First Baptist Church of Graham shortly after moving to Young County and was a faithful member until the time of his death. Mr. Davis was ordained as deacon of the church at Farmer and served in the same capacity at Graham.

Survivors: wife; children of his first wife - Keen James Davis, Earl Eugene Davis, Mrs. Myrtle Owen, Mrs. Myrtis Douglas, Mrs. Mabel Kathryn Calloway, Mrs. Mary Tipton; three brothers - O.R. Davis, Sam Davis, John Davis; 12 grandchildren; 30 nieces and nephews.
