Robert Wayne "Bobby" Elam Jr., 47, Riverside, Mo., died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at his home. Mr. Elam was born July 3, 1962, in Kansas City, Kan. He worked in the construction field. He was also a Kansas City Golden Gloves champion. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Elam. Survivors include his father, Robert Wayne Elam Sr., Springfield; Cheryl Elam, Excelsior Springs; three brothers, Richard Elam, Sedalia, Donald Elam, Fontana, and Wesley Elam, Texas; and other relatives.
Memorial services were scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, March 12, at Elmira Baptist Church in Elmira; graveside services were to follow the memorial at Elmira Cemetery.
