Mrs. Dorothy Lee Pyle Bobbitt age 80 of Weches, passed away Wednesday November 14, 2001, in the Memorial Hospital in Lufkin. Mrs. Bobbitt was born January 21, 1921 in Weches and had lived there most of her lifetime. She was a homemaker and a member of the Weches Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include children John Bobbitt and wife, Ruth of Weches; Charles Bobbitt and wife, Belissa of Weches; Barbara Peterson and Husband, Bily Ed of Cleburne; Roy Lee Bobbitt and wife, Linda of Weches; Jerry Bobbitt of Weches; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, sisters Modell Hogan of New Jersey; Marceline Gregg and husband, Earl of Augusta; Meda Ann Riley of Springfield, Missiouri; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Preceded in death by husband, Roy Bobbitt, parents Jimmy and Julia Pyle, grandson Clay Bobbitt and brother Leon Pyle.

Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Lee Pyle Bobbitt were held Saturday, November 17, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. in the Weches Pentecostal Church with Rev. John Poe and Rev. Russell CAmpbell officiating. Interment followed in the Weches Cemetery.
