Born Aug. 29, 1941, in Louisville, she was the daughter of the late Sid and Nina Carter Decker.
She was retired from General Electric in Louisville and was a member of Grace Tabernacle Church near Laconia.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Decker.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Harold T. Chancey; a son, Tim L. Chancey of Sulphur; a daughter, Debbie L. Brown of Laconia; four brothers, Dale, Raymond and Gary Decker, all of Laconia, and Damon Decker of Kentucky; four sisters, Betty Moore of Oklahoma, Nadine Tyrell of Mount Washington, Ky., Martha Deatrick of Laconia and Shirley Warren of Crandall; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Friday, March 5, from noon to 9 p.m., at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, and Saturday, March 6, after 10 a.m. at her church.
Funeral: Saturday, March 6, at 2 p.m. at her church with burial in Rehoboth Cemetery near Laconia.
Officiant: The Rev. Greg Carter.
Pallbearers: Matt, Brent, Buddy, Dale Jr. and Jaren Decker and Dale Johnson.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church.
