His wife was Ann Jane Proctor, daughter of Jonas William Proctor and Mary Richardson. FAG # 81638212 She is buried in the Deloach Cemetery in Bulloch Co. just down the road from the Deloach Moore Cemetery.

Around 1876, she married William I Beasley Sr.(1852-1887)
They had these children:
Allen born 1877
James born 1880
Eliza born 1882
Mary born 1883
Nellie born 1886
William I Jr. born 1888 died in 1902 and buried near his father in the Deloach and Moore Cemetery west of Deloach Primitive Baptist Church.

Around 1895, she then married Charles William Groover(1866-1950).
