Daisy Pearl Racer, 72, of Luray died Sunday, Oct. 24, 1982 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient four weeks.
She was born Nov. 5, 1909 and was a daughter of the late Adam and Caroline Smelser Sours.
On Dec. 19, 1945, she married Clyde F. (Jerry) Racer, who survives.
Surviving, besides her husband, is a sister, Lillie Jenkins of Berryville.
A funeral service was conducted Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 27, at the Bradley Funeral Home by the Rev. O.L. Martin.
Burial was in Beahm's Chapel Cemetery.
