Roy C. Winchell was born Nov. 3, 1892 at Salem, the son of Mr and Mrs Clarence Winchell. He moved with his parents to Bridgewater and then to a farm south of Presho in 1905.
In 1920 he moved to a farm south of Draper where he mad his home until retiring in 1959 and moved into Draper.
He married Addie Harris on July 2, 1923 at Pierre. He was a veteran of World War I.
Survivors, in addition to his widow, include one brother Kenneth and several nieces and nephews.
