Canton, Mo., Dec. 5 -- Funeral services for Charles Elmer Bowman of Canton were held Wednesday morning at 10:30 in the Barkley funeral home here, conducted by the Reverend V. T. Wood. Burial was in Baylis, Illinois, Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. Bowman died Monday in Blessing hospital, Quincy. He was born December 14, 1867, in Fishhook, Illinois, a son of William and Martha (Allen) Bowman. He was a retired hardware dealer. Surviving is the widow.
